Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 August 2026
1. Who we are
We Fix White Goods Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15137494.
We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. If you have any question about this policy or about how we handle your information, contact us at Wefixwhitegoods@gmail.com or on 07837 612619.
2. What information we collect
When you get in touch or book online through this website, we collect only what you give us:
- Breakdown Cover form — your name, phone number, email address, and details about your appliance (type, make and age).
- Online booking (Book Online page) — your name, email address, phone number, and the appointment date, time and service you select.
We also receive limited technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. This is recorded by our hosting provider in server logs and used for security and diagnostics.
We don’t ask for special category data such as health information. Please avoid including any in a message to us.
3. Why we use your information, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a repair or quote — because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- To carry out work you book with us — because it is necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To keep business, accounting and insurance records — because we have a legal obligation to do so.
- To keep our website secure — because we have a legitimate interest in protecting our systems.
4. How long we keep it
Enquiries submitted through the Breakdown Cover form are delivered to us by email. We do not store these submissions in a database on the website itself.
Bookings made through our online booking calendar are stored in the website’s database so we can manage appointments and get in touch with you about them.
Enquiries that don’t lead to work are normally deleted within 24 months. Where we carry out work for you, we keep records for six years after the end of the relationship, which is the period we are required to retain accounting records and the period relevant to insurance and liability.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for marketing purposes.
We share information only where necessary with:
- our website hosting, email and booking software providers, who process data on our instructions;
- our accountant, insurer or professional advisers, where required;
- regulators or law enforcement, where we are legally required to do so.
6. Cookies and third-party content
This website uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, including for security.
Some pages include content served by third parties, which may set their own cookies when that content loads:
- Google Reviews, displayed through a reviews widget, showing reviews left by our customers on Google.
- Google Fonts, used to display the typefaces on this website.
These are provided by Google, and their use of data is governed by Google’s own privacy policy. Our online booking calendar may also set a cookie needed to manage your booking session. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers or any profiling tools on this website.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may stop reviews or online booking from displaying or working correctly.
7. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information, where there is no continuing reason for us to keep it;
- ask us to restrict how we use your information;
- object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests;
- ask us to transfer your information to another provider;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email Wefixwhitegoods@gmail.com. We will respond within one month.
8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
9. Security
This website is served over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry and booking information is limited to We Fix White Goods Ltd and anyone who needs it to carry out the work. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us.
10. Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
