Tumble dryer repairs — before you book

Most often a failed heating element or a tripped thermal cut-out, frequently caused by a blocked filter or vent restricting airflow. We clear and test airflow as standard.
Treat it as a safety issue: switch off and unplug the dryer and call us before using it again. It’s often lint build-up, but it needs checking properly.
If the repair costs less than a third of a replacement and the dryer is under about eight years old, repairing is usually the better value. We’ll tell you honestly if it isn’t worth saving.
